This is a great time to really bask in the local harvest, and we think you will really enjoy this week’s seasonal menu.
We have chicken with peperonata, spaghetti squash, a roasted Brussels sprouts salad, and salty bread from Amazing Grains in Fairport. For our peperonata, we use late-season peppers and tomatoes, cooked down with fresh herbs and balsamic, matched with our locally-sourced roast chicken.
We also have the roasted Brussels sprouts salad available in pints or quarts. The shredded sprouts have a lot of crunch, as do the apples. We enjoyed this for dinner last night with the Lilly Pilly pinot noir from Living Roots, and we have an array of beer, wine and cider to add to your order!
