Farmhouse Table Named One of Rochester’s Fastest-Growing MWBEs

At this year’s Greater Rochester Chamber MWBE Awards, Farmhouse Table was honored once again as one of the region’s 50 fastest-growing minority- and women-owned businesses. Ranked #26 in this year’s countdown, we joined nearly 400 business and community leaders at the Floreano Convention Center to celebrate the achievements of fellow MWBEs and the growing momentum of inclusive entrepreneurship in Monroe County.

While last year’s #3 ranking was certainly a high-water mark, we’re proud of what our place at #26 represents—sustainable growth, a maturing company, and a commitment to long-term impact over short-term flash. Our business continues to evolve, and we’re more focused than ever on staying rooted in our mission: connecting people through food, sourcing locally, and delivering exceptional hospitality in every corner of the community.

What the MWBE Awards Mean

Now in its second year, the MWBE Awards showcase the diversity, determination, and strength of Rochester’s business community. Hosted by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and supported by Monroe County, COMIDA, and MCIDC, the event recognizes the 50 fastest-growing certified MWBEs in the region. The rankings are based on year-over-year growth, and this year’s honorees reflect the full range of industries—construction, tech, design, professional services, and, of course, food.

As a proud woman-owned business, Farmhouse Table is deeply honored to be counted among such dynamic, innovative companies. We know firsthand the challenges and barriers that MWBEs face, from access to capital to visibility in competitive markets. Events like this don’t just celebrate success—they make space for conversations, connections, and future collaborations that move the whole region forward.

A Moment of Reflection

Growth doesn’t always look like a straight line—and that’s a good thing. Since our founding, Farmhouse Table has taken a measured, mission-first approach to expansion. We’ve added new services, built out a brick-and-mortar café at Innovation Square, expanded our catering footprint, and found ways to say yes to more clients without losing the personal touch that brought us to this point. We’ve also invested in people—hiring and developing a leadership team that’s as passionate about service as they are about scale.

Standing shoulder to shoulder at the awards ceremony, our leadership team took a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come—and what comes next. Our ranking may have shifted, but our trajectory is clear: sustainable, values-driven growth that serves both our customers and our community.

Supporting an Ecosystem of Opportunity

One of the most powerful parts of the MWBE Awards is seeing just how many businesses are taking root and thriving across Monroe County. Since launching its certification program in 2021, Monroe County has certified nearly 800 MWBEs—an extraordinary sign of energy and potential in our local economy.

Farmhouse Table is proud to be part of that ecosystem. We believe in building local supply chains, supporting family farms, and mentoring other small businesses navigating the early stages of growth. Our success has always been shared—with our partners, our producers, and our staff. That’s what community-based business looks like.

Looking Ahead

Recognition like this reminds us that we’re part of something bigger than ourselves. As we look to the future, Farmhouse Table will continue to champion inclusivity, sustainability, and excellence in everything we do. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate lunch, or a pop-up happy hour, we’ll keep showing up with good food, good people, and a deep commitment to our roots.

To the Greater Rochester Chamber, Monroe County, and all of the 2025 MWBE Award honorees—thank you. We’re honored to be in such inspiring company, and we can’t wait to see what we all build together.
